Lauren and Mike’s engagement session at Skyland’s Manor is one for the books! These two radiate so much joy and are such a pleasure to spend time with. I’m almost positive I did a happy dance when they told me they were interested in having their session at Skylands Manor! It’s one of my favorite places for photography sessions because of the old world charm that it has. The mansion itself is magnificent and the grounds are like something out of a storybook.

Mike says that the proposal was a bit of a wild story! Lauren’s engagement ring was supposed to be finished by the time they left for a vacation in Savannah, but there was a delay. This nearly gave Mike a heart attack! Instead, the jeweler had to ship the ring directly to their bed and breakfast in Savannah. As luck would have it, the ring arrived on time! On their second to last night, Lauren and Mike went to Artillary Bar followed by a walk down to Savannah’s famous Forsyth Park. Mike led Lauren down to the grand fountain at the center of the park and proposed! He was even able to hire a photographer to capture the moment. Mike says that it was such an exciting evening with lots of people around congratulating them. This made the moment feel all the more special!
