This beautiful lady is Avanti, and she’s my best friend of almost TEN years now…. what?! We met during the first week of our freshman year of high school and have been two peas in a pod ever since.  Horses have been Avanti’s passion for as long as I’ve known her.  I can remember a few times back in high school where she’d take us up to the barn that she worked at and we’d spend the whole day there…. and I LOVED it!  There was something so relaxing being at the barn.  That being said, I probably wouldn’t have thought of it that way if I was actually working while I was there like she was, haha!

When we went off to college, Avanti majored in Equine Studies and went on to work at a beeeeautiful barn up in northern New Jersey.  Literally the most perfect location for photos.  I thought it would have been SO fun to do a shoot with Avanti wearing a long flowing dress in a field with all of the horses at sunset!  So, we asked her boss if it would be ok to use her property for a couple of hours, and then we made it happen 🙂 Enjoy some of the photos we took from earlier last week!  They’re some of my absolute favorites!
