Lauren + Simon flew all the way in from California for their engagement session last week! They decided that they wanted to have their session at Larchmont Manor Park in New York, which made for the most amazing backdrop for all of their photos. Any day spent near the water is a good day in my book — but we had the most incredible golden hour and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!

When I first spoke to Lauren + Simon on the phone a couple of months ago, I knew that they were going to be so much fun to work with. We talked about Lauren’s wedding dress, the overall vision for their wedding day, and their proposal story. They told me that as they had finished packing up their apartment on moving day, Simon asked Lauren to check their “everything drawer” one last time. Little did she know that there was a ring waiting for her in the drawer! It was completely unexpected, and so sweet.
