Nicole and Steve’s wedding day at Indian Trail Club was a garden party fairytale! I photographed their wedding the week after Ryan and I returned back from our honeymoon, and it was so nice to be back in the swing of things. Nicole and Steve are such awesome people who are so much FUN to be around! They make everyone around them feel loved and welcomed. Plus, they have the best sense of style — and I couldn’t wait to see their wedding day vision finally come to life!

HOW THEY MET

Imagine this…two soulmates living exactly 3.2 miles away with acquaintances in common that may have never met without the assistance of the modern internet age.  Prior to the spring of 2016 that was the case.  Nicole and Steve were only a town apart, but worlds away.  That spring their stories converged. Nicole and Steve digitally crossed paths and their lives have never been the same since.

THEIR FIRST DATE

During their first date at a local eatery that they both frequented, they saw each other for the first time, even if that time was 45 minutes later than planned. “I’m sorry I’m never late!” Nicole convincingly stated upon brisk arrival.  They hugged ‘hello’, got their table, and 6 years later Nicole is still late (and now Steve is too).

Over the past six years Nicole and Steve have partaken in job changes, buying a home, vacations, learning how to cook through Hello Fresh, grad school, and many, many house projects, and they are just getting started!
