It was such a joy to venture out to Hoboken for Rachel and Mike’s engagement session! I rarely find myself in that area and I always love the chance to explore someplace new and exciting. It gets the creativity flowing! Rachel and Mike are such kind, genuine, and down to earth people. It truly was such a pleasure getting to spend my evening with them!

Rachel and Mike decided to have their session in Hoboken because it’s the place where they call home. They also wanted to have some variety within their photos. Rachel and Mike thought having engagement session photos with the city skyline in the background would be a nice contrast to the photos taken at their beach wedding! We started our session out near the Hoboken waterfront with the most beautiful view of the New York City skyline (one of these days I’m going to have to travel back into Hoboken at night to see the skyline all lit up!). Afterwards, we waked over to Rachel and Mike’s home to to pick up their adorable puppy, Mora, for some photos. Mora is the sweetest, and I think she had fun being in front of the camera, too! 🙂
