I’m so excited to be featuring my good friend Jen and her boyfriend Ryan on the blog today! Session swaps with photographer friends are always the best. I met up with Jen and Ryan (can’t forget about Lily, too!) at The Cross Garden Estates in Bernardsville, NJ. Talk about a hidden gem! I had never been there before, and it turned out to be such a perfect session location. I couldn’t get over the huge grassy fields and beautiful gardens! I’ll definitely be visiting again soon.

I first met Jen through The Rising Tide Society about a year and a half ago. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer (click here to see her work), but she is also one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet. She’s always there to lend a hand and offer her suggestions and advice with full transparency. I couldn’t be more grateful for our friendship!

Getting to spend the evening with Jen and Ryan was so much fun. I loved watching them laugh together, run through the open fields, and chase their adorable puppy, Lily. They had me laughing through the entire session! Auburn hair, navy lace dress, the cutest couple around, and an overgrown field at sunset…. all of the things that make for photographer heaven 🙂 Check out some of my favorites below!
