Jamie and Kyle (and Barkley the Aussie!) made their way down from New England for their engagement session this past weekend at Cross Estate Gardens!

While brainstorming for location ideas, Jamie and Kyle were looking for somewhere that had a similar charm to Boston and Cape May (one of their favorite places to visit!). When they came across Cross Estate Gardens, they knew they had found the perfect spot. Cross Estate Gardens has so much variety with the grassy fields, English gardens, and a historic mansion. It’s a photographers dream location!

Jamie and Kyle’s story about how they met might just be my favorite of all time…. they sat next to each other on an airplane five and a half years ago and have been in love ever since! When Kyle proposed, he took Jamie to their favorite restaurant and they walked through a park where they had taken their very first photo. Kyle kept everything top secret by proposing on a Wednesday so that Jamie wouldn’t be expecting the surprise! Afterwards, they celebrated with their friends!

Jamie and Kyle, I had the best time getting to know you both at our session! Congratulations on your engagement! I can’t wait for your wedding at Perona Farms next fall. I know that it is going to be amazing!
