When we first met during our initial consult, I knew that Ashton and Ed were going to be so fun to work with. They are such a kindhearted couple – and their laughter is contagious!
When we first hopped out of our cars at the session, Ashton and Ed handed me a beautiful framed watercolor print of a floral scene that Ashton made (she is such a talented artist!). It was so thoughtful of them to think of me – and I have it proudly displayed in my bedroom! Thank you both so much for the sweet gift ❤️
Ashton and Ed met in 2014. They both worked at the A&P – Ed in the dairy department and Aston as a cashier. They talked on and off over the years that Ashton worked during the summers and used to message each other online once in a while. In 2019, Ashton and Ed started hanging out for lunches and then in February of 2020, Ashton told Ed that she liked him – and left it up to Ed to make a decision. They started dating on March 5th, 2020 (a couple of weeks before the shutdown!). Ashton says that the shutdown allowed them to really get to know each other. Ed proposed on March 6, 2021 – one year and a day after they started dating!
Congratulations on your engagement, Ashton & Ed! You were both such a joy to photograph. I cannot wait to celebrate with you next September at The Olde Mill Inn!
