Now that it’s officially my “off season,” I’m excited to catch up on blogging my engagement sessions and weddings from 2022! I’m kicking it off with Gina and Phil’s beach engagement session in Long Branch, NJ. It’s making me look forward to warmer temperatures as I sit here bundled up in my yoga pants and sweatshirt!

Phil proposed to Gina on Memorial Day Weekend! They were planning on getting dinner at Rooney’s to officially kick off the beginning of summer. When Phil arrived to pick up Gina up for dinner, he said that Rooney’s was busy and their reservation was pushed back by 45 minutes. Gina didn’t think much of it as they began driving towards the restaurant and passing by all of the beautiful beaches. Phil turned down a familiar street next to the beach where Gina’s grandma grew up (it’s always been a special place for Gina and her family!). He then parked the car and wanted to get out and go for a walk. Gina says that, in hindsight, she should have noticed something was up! She followed Phil to the boardwalk and once they got there they began talking about their lives together. Phil then got down on one knee and asked Gina to marry him. Gina had no idea this was about to happen and was in complete shock!

Congratulations on your engagement, Gina and Phil! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture these memories for you. I can’t wait to celebrate with you on your wedding day this summer!
