Mateusz and Patricia met during junior year of high school in physics class (though Patricia always thinks it was chemistry class!). They were both pretty shy in high school so they didn’t really start talking until right before they went off to college. While they were thinking they were just friends and hanging out all the time they didn’t realize, in reality, they were dating and falling for each other pretty hard. The day before Patricia moved in to her college dorm they went out to Montclair for a slice of pizza in this little restaurant that’s tucked away. Afterwards, they went to a cute bookstore nearby and then decided to go for a walk in Hoboken. At this point they both knew they had feelings for each other but hadn’t admitted it yet. During the ride home, Mateusz spelled “KISS ME” on Patricia’s leg and the rest is history.

They got engaged on August 22, 2020 in Liberty State Park! Mateusz had planned a beautiful picnic. They played board games, admired the skyline, and witnessed a wedding ceremony in the park – and a few hours later Mateusz got down on one knee and asked Patricia to be his wife!

Where do I even begin with Mateusz and Patricia’s incredible wedding day?! They tied the knot at the beautiful St. Mary’s Church (almost a year to the day of getting engaged!) and their reception was held at The Refinery at Perona Farms. After their first dance, Mateusz and Patricia did the Marinera which was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever gotten to experience at a wedding! Some of my FAVORITE photos from their wedding day are of this dance.

Congratulations, Mateusz and Patricia! ❤️ You are both such kindhearted people and it has been an absolute joy to be a part of such an amazing and exciting time in your lives. Enjoy some of my favorites below!
