The historic Glenburn Estate in Riverdale, NJ, was the perfect venue for Katie + Steve’s elegant, classic, adventure themed wedding.  The estate is complete with original wood flooring, beautiful fireplaces, a wainscoting lined staircase AND a barn — needless to say, I was in my GLORY last weekend!

We started the day by photographing Katie’s beautiful bridal details and the girls getting ready before heading over to the church to meet up with Steve and his groomsmen.  Katie + Steve chose to do a first look before their ceremony at Garrett Mountain State Park (we did their engagement session there, too!).  We were SO lucky that the weather held out for us for their first look portraits!!!

After the ceremony, we head back up to the Glenburn Estate for cocktail hour & the reception…. and that’s when it started to downpour.  But that didn’t stop us!!!  All of the guests had a wonderful time laughing, talking, & eating delicious food in the beautiful barn with fairy lights twinkling up in the rafters.  Pretty shortly after cocktail hour, the weather cleared up and the guests began to play the games laid out on the front lawn of the Estate before dinner — ring toss, bocce ball, & corn hole.  SO fun!

At the end of the night, we made two lines for Katie + Steve to run through for their sparkler exit.  It was just MAGICAL!

Katie + Steve, you are so relaxed, fun loving, and an absolute JOY to be around.  Thank you SO much for giving me the honor of photographing your wedding. Congratulations!  I am so happy for you both, and I hope that you are enjoying your honeymoon!
