Shauna and Matt’s wedding at The Breakers on the Ocean was the perfect way to start my 2022 wedding season! When I arrived at the bridal suite, I looked over at Shauna and said “I can’t believe how perfect it is outside!” Shauna and I had talked about potentially needing to use umbrellas for their portraits (it had rained nearly every day the week leading up to their wedding!) but we were gifted with a warm and beautiful spring day when Friday arrived.

Shauna coordinated everything so beautifully for her getting ready photos. All of the bridesmaids had matching pajamas and cozy pink slippers with their initials written on the sides. Shauna wore white pajamas with feathers lining the sleeves (I was obsessed!). Her details couldn’t have been more gorgeous either — I even had a little helper while I was photographing them! Shauna’s nieces were seriously too cute.

Shauna and Matt had their ceremony at St. Dennis Church. I loved seeing Matt’s expression when he saw Shauna for the first time as a bride. He was beaming from ear to ear! Every so often I would catch them looking at each other on the altar and they would laugh together. Those images are some of my favorites from their ceremony!

After bridal party photos at Divine Park, Shauna and Matt met me at the Spring Lake boardwalk for their bride and groom portraits. They stayed on the beach with me for a solid 45 minutes and let me pose them any which way — I promise, it was so worth it!
