Sunset Park LBI Wedding | NJ Wedding Photographer | Rachel and Mike

Rachel & Mike’s beautiful wedding day quite literally left me speechless. I had been looking forward to it for MONTHS!! The three of us met up in Hoboken for their engagement session a short while before the wedding day. Rachel & Mike were so fun, relaxed, and go with the flow. I loved watching how much Mike made Rachel laugh and how both of their eyes would light up while playing with their sweet puppy, Mora. I knew that their wedding day was going to be such a fun and beautiful reflection of them!

Rachel and Mike got ready at Daddy O’s before making their way over to Sunset Park for their first look. We took bridal party photos and family formals following Rachel and Mike’s portraits. While we had the most gorgeous day, it was a *little* windy out by the waterfront — but everyone handled the wind like a pro!

Their wedding ceremony took place out on the beach. Guests kicked off their shoes and watched Rachel and Mike recite the sweetest vows in front of the beautiful sparkling ocean. As a side note, the portraits of Rachel and Mike reading their vows are some of my favorites from their entire wedding day! Mike makes Rachel laugh like no other, and it was so sweet to watch.

After the ceremony, guests walked over to Sunset Park to enjoy the cocktail hour. This is when I went into the sailcloth reception tent to photograph the beautiful tablescapes! Each place setting had a custom engraved ring around a cloth napkin with each guests name written on it. String lights surrounded the entire tent and each post was wrapped with bamboo-like stalks. The beautiful centerpieces had white flowers with lots of greenery.

Kristen and The Noise was the entertainment for the evening and was absolutely incredible! Guests enjoyed dancing and singing along to the live music. Rachel, Mike, and I snuck over to the waterfront during the first dance set pause for some sunset photos! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect, golden sunset!
