Ballyowen Golf Club | NJ Wedding Photographer | Ali & Trevor

Ali and Trevor decided to keep their original date and move forward with their intimate wedding as planned! It was the first wedding that I had photographed since the beginning of MARCH, and it was so great to be back doing what I love!

Ali and Trevor met eight years ago in a QuickCheck parking lot. They were long distance for about five years while Trevor was in the Army. He finished his service in 2016, and they’ve been able to enjoy civilian life ever since!

I started the day photographing Ali at her childhood home. I loved seeing how she incorporated her grandparents in the details through out the morning. Ali’s mom had a display of her grandparents wedding photos in the kitchen, as well as a beautiful lace table runner that her grandmother had made (it was most perfect backdrop for detail photos!). Ali also had a piece of lace from her grandmother’s wedding dress stitched onto her bouquet.

After Ali finished getting ready, we drove to St. Mary’s Church for their intimate wedding ceremony followed by the reception at Ballyowen Golf Club. If you’ve never been to Ballyowen, the grounds of the property are beautiful! It feels like you’re on top of the world. My favorite part of Ali and Trevor’s wedding was seeing them be able to relax, have fun, and truly spend time with each and every one of their guests!
